Ji-Hyun Song

The project ’Shards’ was produced by Korean visual artist Jihyun Song. She has been fascinated by physical/ material properties that change as time goes on. The project started when Song studied Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art in London, from the notion of declining material worth and its resurrection. She produced more than 11 pieces of hand-built ceramic sculptures that can be installed in specific spaces as disintegrated fragments and metaphorical still-life.
