Koen Dudink (NL) observes contemporary human behavior around the use of mobile phones, including studying the bodily postures taken when using a mobile phone. Dudink 3D-scanned a human model, then 3D-printed the scan in two sizes to cast molds. For the larger sculptures, he created press-in molds, for the smaller sculptures casting molds. For the glaze, he chose sinter engobes for their matt texture. Dudink also hand-built two larger pieces as a learning experience. The sculptures will be placed in public spaces such as train stations or city squares.
