TEST CASE XXXIV – Open studio
May 24th 2025, 2 – 5 pm

On Saturday May 24th, EKWC will open its doors to the public from 2 to 5 pm for the Test Case XXXIV. During this event artists will open their studios, providing you with the chance to engage in conversation with them and learn more about their inspirations, techniques, and the progress of their residency.

In addition participants who have recently completed their residencies will present their work in a small exhibition. Many of these will be shown to the public for the first time.

C.T.H. Fransen (NL) and Koos Buster (NL) have created an art installation especially for EKWC; a room with a set breakfast table. All the household objects in this room are made of clay – from the broom in the corner to the cereal in the bowl. The installation forms the decor for the film series CLAY SOAP, which Buster and Fransen will be making this summer. This installation will be shown to the public for the first time during Test Case and will be part of this year’s temporary exhibition
